You will learn chemical fundamentals and engineering aspects of important industrial processes, especially catalytic processes in refining (e.g. FCC, Reforming, Hydrotreating, Alkylation) as well as processes for the production of alternative fuels from synthesis gas. In the end you will be able to analyze these processes and apply the knowledge to related questions in refining and energy process engineering.
