Active Learning

What it is about

You engage in active learning: how children acquire knowledge about the world quickly through their own actions, questions, and exploration. In the end, you will know the theoretical and computational foundations of active learning from a developmental psychology perspective and understand how research results can be relevant for education.

What you will be able to do

• Understand computational models of information search
• Classify development-related perspectives on active learning
• Be able to transfer results from active learning research to education
• Develop, conduct and evaluate your own experimental questions
