You will learn the fundamentals of Systems Engineering: methods, processes and tools for the development of technical systems over their lifecycle. The examination consists of individually submitted homeworks (three with resubmission, three without resubmission), a written test at the end of the semester (60 minutes) and peer feedback as well as a final reflection. Weighting (total): 5% each for the three homeworks without resubmission (3 × 5%), the three homeworks with resubmission together weigh 15% (5% quality of work, 5% quality/differentiated feedback, 5% reflection of one's own work), the written test 30% and the final reflection 10%. Resubmissions must justify changes. The test tasks assess deeper knowledge and may combine case studies.
