You learn how climate change signals are detected and interpreted in observational data. In the seminar, measurement methods (focus on satellite remote sensing, also in situ) and findings for the atmosphere, oceans, ice, sea ice, and land vegetation are compared and reconciled with theoretical insights and model results, so that you can assess observable changes and methodological boundaries.
From an earlier semester, for reference only.
