What it is about

You will learn the specific methods, problems and solutions for real-time systems. You will understand how real-time systems differ from general systems, how modelling, scheduling, concurrent programming, real-time capable communication as well as typical hardware for sensing and actuation are used, and you will be able to select and implement suitable solutions. The module closes with an introduction to fault-tolerant systems.
