You will learn to formulate, analyze and simulate mathematical models for cellular systems. The focus is on reaction kinetics, thermodynamics and stoichiometric networks; in the end you will be able to create balance equations for complex cellular networks, predict their behavior by means of simulations, and evaluate biotechnological processes with regard to temporal behavior and product yield.
