You will learn how to experimentally investigate vibration phenomena in machines and structures: from sensor selection and signal conditioning through time- and frequency-domain analysis to modal analysis and frequency-based substructuring. In the end you will be able to formulate measurement tasks for vibration analysis, correctly evaluate measurement data, and physically assess the observed vibration behavior.
