What it is about

You learn the legal foundations and current developments of the regulation of artificial intelligence, with a focus on EU law. In the end you will be able to classify application areas, opportunities and risks of AI legally and draw comparisons to regulations in the USA, the UK and other countries.

  • Understand the fundamentals and concepts of AI regulation
  • Name application areas and risks of AI technologies
  • Compare legal developments in the EU, USA, UK and other countries
  • Discuss legal questions about General Purpose AI and sector-specific deployments
