What it is about

You learn how digital technologies and AI can support individuals and groups in personal and collective political decisions. In the module you connect political decision theories with the development of practice-oriented tools to foster decision-making and participation competences. In the end you will be able to design AI-supported prototypes for democratic decision-making processes and reflect on ethical as well as democratic questions.

• apply political decision theories and argumentation patterns in digital tools
• develop AI-supported prototypes to support democratic decision-making processes
• practically deploy and adapt LLMs for political applications
• reflect on ethical and democratic issues in the use of AI in politics

What the module consists of

• Projektarbeitcentral: conception and implementation of a project including prototype development

• Video-Dokumentationshort video-based presentation of concept, process and result
