You will learn methods for optimizing enzymes with a focus on variation of the primary structure. This includes analysis of molecular limitations, rational and computer-based approaches, evolutionary as well as combined procedures and high-throughput methods; in the seminar you will practically apply bioinformatic tools to generate improved enzyme variants for a concrete target.
