What it is about

You will work 12 weeks practically in current research projects on gene and protein engineering in mammalian cells. In the end you can plan, conduct, evaluate and contextualize experimental work within biotechnological questions (e.g. regenerative medicine).

What you will be able to do

• Assessment of the possibilities and limitations of gene and protein engineering in mammalian cells
• Evaluation of analysis and manipulation options through genetically encoded components
• Mastery of advanced cloning methods
• Mastery of modern mammalian cell culture and gene editing techniques
