What it is about

You work experimentally on plant–microbe interactions, learn experimental setup, execution, and evaluation in a practical way. In the end you will be able to plan basic experiments and conduct them independently in the lab as well as document the results in writing and place them in the scientific context.

What you will be able to do

• Understand principles of research approaches to plant–microbe interactions
• Assess which questions require which methods
• Plan and perform simple experiments with plant–microbe systems
• Present results in writing, evaluate them, and discuss them in a report

What the module consists of

• Praktikumsix weeks full-time research practice, independent execution of 2–5 experiments under supervision
