What it is about

You work in the laboratory of the research group of Prof. Dr. Achim Krüger at the Klinikum rechts der Isar on current questions of molecular oncology. You perform experiments using molecular biological, cellular biological, biochemical and tumor biological techniques and learn to document, evaluate and present results in a talk.

What you will be able to do

• Apply modern techniques of biochemistry
• Apply molecular biological methods (e.g. DNA cloning, vector construction)
• Carry out cellular biological methods (e.g. transfection, infection of mammalian cells)
• Apply methods of histology and cell culture
• Basic knowledge in transcriptomics and proteomics
• Conduct and evaluate proliferation, migration and invasion assays
• Create and discuss a scientific protocol (IMRAD)
• Presentation and interpretation of experimental results
