Host-Parasite-Interaction

What it is about

You will learn the molecular basis of interactions between plants and pathogens—from pattern-recognition-mediated immunity to effector-mediated susceptibility and effector-mediated immunity. By the end you can apply this knowledge to model and crop plants, design experimental approaches to increase disease resistance, and assess the connection between basic research and applied questions in breeding and biotechnology.
