What it is about
You will learn the biology of human-pathogenic bacteria and important human-pathogenic parasites. The module covers mechanisms of pathogenicity and immune evasion, diagnostic procedures, epidemiology as well as selected disease patterns and control measures. In the end you can name properties of pathogens, explain their interaction with humans and categorize diagnostic and epidemiological aspects.
