What it is about

You will gain in-depth knowledge of the metabolism of microorganisms, in particular prokaryotic organisms, and learn how they can be used for biotechnological processes. By the end, you will understand central metabolic pathways, relevant biosyntheses and degradation processes as well as approaches to optimize microorganisms for improved production processes.
