What it is about

You will learn methods of catalysis research for homogeneous, heterogeneous and biocatalysis. The module provides synthesis, characterization and theoretical approaches, so you can apply procedures and analytical tools specifically to research questions of catalysis.

• Applying techniques in catalysis research
• Using analytical methods to characterize catalysts
• Interpretation and determination of reaction kinetics
• Using theoretical methods (e.g. DFT, MD) for catalysis questions
• Transferring methods to homogeneous, heterogeneous catalysis and biocatalysis
