What it is about

You will get a concise overview of modern pharmacology with a focus on drug research and development. You will learn the fundamentals of pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics as well as the development process from research to clinical application. Additionally, you will engage with AI-assisted methods in drug discovery and with new therapeutic approaches (RNA-, gene- and cell therapies). In the end you will be able to assess translational questions and place current pharmacological developments in context.
