i-Teams – Kommerzialisierung der Kreativität, Präsentation

What it is about

You analyse in a 10-week elective the commercial potential of a technology developed at TUM. In multidisciplinary teams you develop a marketable product, conduct customer interviews and present concrete recommendations for further development and commercialization at the end.

What you will be able to do

• Translate laboratory technology into a commercially usable product
• Work on market and development questions in multidisciplinary teams
• Identify target customers and discuss with them
• Testing of communication, product innovation, patents and presentation techniques
• Coordinate teamwork with mentors and researchers

What the module consists of

• Workshops/LecturesConveying foundational knowledge on market introduction and relevant topics (e.g., presentation and communication skills)
• Teamwork/Project meetingsPractical implementation: technology presentation, weekly meetings, mid-term and final presentation, customer analysis, documentation and handover to researchers
