What it is about

You will learn modern methods of instrumental analysis for the detection and characterization of organic trace substances as well as suitable bioanalytical and imaging methods. In the end you will be able to select appropriate measurement strategies, apply measurement methods, evaluate results, and draw conclusions about the significance and applicability of the methods.

What you will be able to do

• Find suitable solution approaches for measurement tasks in trace analysis
• Apply mass spectrometric methods and sample preparation
• Understand and utilize bioanalytical measurement methods and receptors
• Interpret vibrational spectroscopy and imaging methods
• Apply statistical basics for the evaluation of trace analyses
• Discuss measurement results, evaluate them and derive methodological relevance

What the module consists of
