Economics I - Microeconomics

What it is about

You will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of microeconomics. At the end of the module you will be able to explain the behavior of consumers and firms, analyze supply and demand equilibria as well as the effects of market forms and government interventions.

What you will be able to do

Describe scarcity situations and economic goal conflicts
Apply strategies to solve such goal conflicts
Explain mechanisms of specialization and trade
Predict the effects of governmental measures on competitive markets
Assess the relationship between market power and societal welfare
Distinguish which goods are efficiently provided through markets
