Adaptive Gebäudekonzepte

What it is about

You will learn to evaluate the building envelope as an interface between outside and inside climate and to use it design-wise. In the end you can analyze climate data, interpret it site-appropriately and apply this information to develop adaptive, passively shaped building concepts.

• Analyze climate data and assign it to a location
• Use site information as a design-determining element
• Assess the extent to which passive measures enable conditioning
• Identify and evaluate the limits of passive measures

• SeminarIntroduction of the fundamentals and in-depth work on a problem in self-study; possibly group work
