Assessment and Retrofitting of Existing Timber Structures

What it is about

In this module you will learn how to evaluate, test and, if necessary, restore or reinforce existing wooden constructions. At the end you will be able to determine wood-specific material properties, apply test methods on site, and assess and implement suitable restoration and reinforcement measures for structural timber and glued laminated timber.
