In this module you will learn about processes and applications of natural treatment methods. You will understand abiotic and microbial removal mechanisms, specific systems such as constructed wetlands, shoreline filtration, and artificial groundwater recharge, as well as engineering aspects of planning and operation. In the end you will be able to design simple decentralized plants and assess the potential of these methods for water reuse.
