Laborübung Hydraulische Maschinen und Anlagen

What it is about

You will learn the functioning of hydraulic flow machines and the practical handling of measurement methods on pumps, turbines and pipe or canal flow. After the internship you can carry out experimental setups, evaluate measurement data and assess the operating characteristic curves of machines such as centrifugal pumps, Pelton turbines and Francis turbines.

• Understanding machine technology of hydraulic systems
• Recognizing and analyzing flow technical processes in hydropower plants
• Conducting and evaluating measurements (pressure, flow velocity, discharge)
• Creating and interpreting characteristic curves and fields of hydraulic machines
• Documentation and scientific presentation of experimental results
