What it is about

You will learn about the construction and use of modern system architectures for traffic management, public transport and multimodal freight transport. In the end, you will understand different national ITS architectures, tools for developing architectures and the limits of traffic planning software.

• Understand structures of modern system architectures for traffic management
• Classify architectures for public transport and multimodal freight transport
• Know the differences between national ITS architectures (e.g., US, EU)
• Use tools for the development and analysis of ITS architectures and assess their limits
• Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of proposed systems and develop alternatives
