What it is about

You learn object-oriented programming (Java or Python) to solve traffic-related tasks. In the end you will be able to develop programs that address real questions from the transport sector, understand, test and validate code, and make meaningful use of generative AI in programming.

What you will be able to do

  • Programming fundamentals (data types, variables, control structures, methods)
  • Debugging, testing as well as input/output of data
  • Concepts of object-oriented programming (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction)
  • Understand UML diagrams
  • Break down complex transport problems into programming tasks and develop application concepts
  • Use generative AI, understand code and results, validate and interpret
