Geosensornetzwerke und das Internet der Dinge

What it is about

In this module you will learn how IoT and geosensor networks are built, operated and analyzed. At the end you will be able to deploy sensor hardware and microcontrollers, transmit data over networks (in particular LoRa/LoRaWAN) and use open standards (e.g. OGC SensorThings API) for management, visualization and analysis of sensor data.

• Explain fundamental methods and technologies of the Internet of Things and geosensor networks
• Independently conceptualize and prototype IoT and geosensor network projects
• Document results scientifically
• Present and defend project results in front of an audience
