Master's Thesis (CSE)

What it is about

You work independently for six months on a scientific question from the field of Computational Science and Engineering. You analyze different approaches, make a reasoned selection, implement the solution, and summarize your results in a written Master’s thesis. At the end you can quickly grasp a topic, structure possible solutions, select a reasoned option, and scientifically document a result.

What you will be able to do

• analyze and evaluate essential aspects of a concrete problem
• describe, categorize and justify selection of solution spaces
• develop a solution and describe it precisely
• work scientifically and document it

What the module consists of

• ForschungsprojektYou independently undertake a research project under supervision; the topic usually comes from an ongoing research area of the supervising chairs.
