Mixed Methods

What it is about

You learn how to sensibly combine quantitative, qualitative, and computer-assisted research methods. In the end you can design, critically evaluate, and clearly present mixed-methods studies.

• Explain strategies for integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches
• Examine empirical case studies for best practices
• Select suitable research designs (mono vs. mixed) based on question and context
• Evaluate the strengths, limits, and applicability of mixed methods
