What it is about

You practice and deepen the concepts from the Parallel Programming course by parallelizing, debugging, and optimizing real codes for supercomputers with MPI and OpenMP. You work on large parallel systems (LRZ) and learn to use interactive and batch execution on production systems.

What you will be able to do

  • Design and implement applications for supercomputers
  • Optimize and tune programs for supercomputers
  • Apply advanced concepts of OpenMP
  • Apply advanced concepts of MPI
  • Handle interactive and batch environments on production parallel systems
