Projekt Photogrammetrie und Fernerkundung

What it is about

You work independently on a project from photogrammetry, remote sensing or image understanding. Possible topics range from object extraction and sensor/platform analysis to surface modelling, change detection and sensor fusion to modern methods of computer vision and machine learning. In the end you can analyze a research problem, implement solutions and evaluate them experimentally, and present the results in writing and orally.

What you will be able to do

• Independent analysis of a current research problem in photogrammetry/remote sensing/image understanding
• Preparation of methodological fundamentals of a chosen topic
• Implementation of relevant procedures in Python or C++
• Evaluation of existing approaches through practical experiments and development of your own solutions
• Documentation of the results in a project report
• Presentation of the project work
• Evaluation of your own results in the group
• Integration of the individual project into a joint overall project
• Administration of common project tasks
