What it is about

You will learn the fundamentals, technologies and design aspects of life support systems (LSS) for spaceflight. In the end you will be able to design, analyse and compare different physico-chemical and biological LSS solutions for a given mission.

What you will be able to do

Understanding fundamental concepts of life support systems
Knowledge of physico-chemical LSS technologies (historical and current)
Knowledge of biological LSS approaches (including higher plants, microalgae)
Analysis and comparison of LSS solutions for mission requirements
Assessment of LSS for exterior operations and long-duration missions
Positioning of Human Factors and synergies with other subsystems
