What it is about

You will learn the fundamentals and practical tools of quantum programming. In the lab you will work hands-on with various software frameworks, implement selected quantum algorithms, and be able to conceptually, implement, and evaluate your own quantum computing applications at the end.

What you will be able to do

  • Compare and evaluate different quantum software frameworks
  • Conceptualize your own solutions for quantum computing tasks
  • Implement quantum algorithms with the treated frameworks
  • Evaluate and present the developed applications

What the module consists of

  • Praktikum / LabHands-on experience with software frameworks; tasks range from initial exercises to comprehensive development tasks
  • Präsentation / VortragPresentation and discussion of project results
  • Kurzvorträge / EinführungIntroduction to basic concepts and representative quantum algorithms as a basis for practical work

Teaching method

  • Vorträge/PräsentationenConveying the fundamental concepts and selected quantum algorithms
  • Hands-on-ÜbungenDeepening knowledge through practical work with various frameworks
  • ProjektarbeitApplication and integration of what is learned to develop a complete quantum application
