Programmable Communication Networks Lab

What it is about

In this module you develop software-defined and programmable network systems in a group project (e.g., with SDN or P4). You plan, implement and measure or simulate a communication system and thus learn to practically apply and evaluate programmable network concepts.

• Development of a communication system based on programmable networks (e.g., P4, SDN)
• Application of suitable methods for evaluating and measuring communication systems
• Teamwork and team organization in a technical project
• Scientific writing, presentation and demonstration of results
• Practical programming skills with tools for programmable networks

What the module consists of

• Semesterprojekt (Gruppenarbeit)Central element: planning, implementation and evaluation of the system; supervision by supervisors
