IoT Interoperability Lab

What it is about

You will learn how interoperability is implemented in industrial IoT scenarios. You will practically apply data modelling standards (e.g., JSON/JSON Schema) as well as W3C Web of Things standards and work with IP-based protocols (e.g., HTTP, CoAP, MQTT). In the end you will be able to explain protocols and standards, deploy them in different system architectures, and separate application logic from protocol/device logic.

What you will be able to do

Explain and apply IoT standards and protocols
Deploy standards/protocols in different IoT system architectures
Separate application logic from protocol and device implementation
Develop simple IoT devices and assemble them in distributed applications
Make design decisions for software architectures based on the discussed standards
