What it is about

You will gain an overview of current topics in hardware and platforms for Quantum Information Processing. By the end you will know the most important device principles (e.g. NMR, ion traps, superconducting circuits, photons, neutral atoms, spins) as well as networking possibilities between platforms and you will be able to assess the strengths and limitations of the respective approaches.

What you will be able to do

  • Understand the current state and limits of QIP devices
  • Be able to compare different qubit platforms
  • Read and critically evaluate scientific publications
  • Clearly present scientific results
  • Write concise scientific texts

What the module consists of

  • SeminarYou work on a topic, present it weekly, and discuss it with the group
