MedTech Culture - Modular Trainings

What it is about

The module puts you in direct contact with experts in the industrial development of medical devices. You will learn modular aspects of project management, patents, regulatory approval, quality control, management, and medical engineering topics, and you will also practice soft skills such as presentation technique and virtual teamwork. By the end you will be able to apply development and management methods in MedTech and assess central technical as well as regulatory categories.

What you will be able to do

• Identify and apply industrial development and project management methods in MedTech
• Knowledge on patenting, design, quality control, regulatory approval, marketing and corporate governance
• Apply and characterize technical MedTech methods such as imaging, active body implants, in-vivo and in-vitro sensor technologies and processing of health-related data
• Investigate evaluation-specific categories for MedTech products (in-vivo/in-vitro diagnostics, intervention, therapy, clinical studies)
• Apply social skills: presentation technique, virtual working methods and project-related teamwork

What the module consists of

• Vorlesung (4 SWS)Delivery of content through expert lectures, including demonstrations and video material
