Reliability of Electric Drives

What it is about

You will receive a fundamental introduction to safety-critical systems and the importance of reliability for electric drives. You will learn methods of reliability analysis, evaluation of drive components, fault detection as well as risk analysis and management, and you will be able to apply these techniques to electric drives.

Assessment

Written examMultiple choiceCalculation problems

Written examination at the end of the module, duration 60 minutes. Multiple-choice questions (up to 20%) assess theory and terminology; calculation tasks assess application of theory, knowledge of models, system requirements and calculation skills.
