What it is about

You independently delve into a freely chosen topic of an electronic sensor and present the results to the seminar group. In the end you will be able to present the physical foundations, application limits and implementation aspects of a sensor as well as produce a short scientific write-up with sources.

• Assessment of strengths, weaknesses and application limits of a sensor

What the module consists of

• Selbständige ArbeitYou independently work on the sensor topic and research literature as well as data sheets.
• Presentation20–30 minutes lecture before the seminar group with subsequent discussion (about 10 min) and feedback (about 5 min).
• Schriftliche AusarbeitungApproximately 3-page summary of the main aspects and sources (scientific documentation).
• Regelmäßige BetreuungsgesprächeSupervisor(s) accompany you, provide topical hints and check progress (part of the performance assessment).
