AI-edited module sheet. Based on the TUMonline module description, edited for readability.Original in TUMonline

What it is about

You will learn biological principles of learning and how they can be transferred to the control of humanoid robots. You will develop and test biologically inspired algorithms (e.g. for sensomotor mappings and reinforcement learning) and implement these on NAO robots with ROS.

What the module consists of

  • LecturesConveying the necessary theory for the practical tasks
  • Exercises / Lab tasksImplement and test the learned algorithms on robots

Teaching method

  • LecturesProvide the theoretical foundation for the exercises
  • Laboratory exercisesEnsure that central methods are implemented and tested on robots
