What it is about

You work on practical tasks in energy management technologies, e.g., experiments with energy system hardware, software modules, or data analyses. In the end, you will be able to apply methods and technologies of energy management, develop energy system software or models, and summarize your results in a report and presentation.

• Understand methods and technologies of energy management
• Handling modern energy system hardware
• Understand the use of modern computer science methods in energy management
• Use Python and Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis and modeling
• Develop and simulate software models of energy systems
• Develop energy management software (e.g., for buildings)
• Apply optimization methods in energy management
• Reflect on sustainable ecological, social, and economic development
• Develop inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to connect ecological, social, and economic aspects
