What it is about

In this internship you will work on eight lab-based experiments on modern control and drive concepts (e.g., PLL, feedback linearization, sliding mode, impedance control). At the end you can select a regulator that goes beyond standard approaches for practical control tasks, implement it on a real experimental setup, and critically evaluate the results.

What you will be able to do

  • Selection of modern control methods for practical problems
  • Implementation of controllers on real test rigs
  • Critical evaluation and documentation of experimental results
  • Application of observers and LQ control
  • Analysis of hybrid control systems and switching controllers

What the module consists of

  • PraktikumConducting eight laboratory experiments on various topics of controller design and control loop analysis; practical implementation and documentation

Teaching method

  • Selbstständige Einarbeitung zu HauseReview of known results and development of advanced content
  • Praktische Implementierung an VersuchsständenDeepening of knowledge through practical application
  • Betreute Diskussion und kritische Reflexion im VersuchsprotokollDocumentation and evaluation of results with supervisor support
