AI-edited module sheet. Based on the TUMonline module description, edited for readability.Original in TUMonline

What it is about

You learn fundamentals and methods of networked control systems. In the module you cover model building, analysis and design of distributed control under communication constraints and apply concepts such as consensus, synchronization, stabilization and optimal control. In the end you will be able to model networked dynamic systems, analyze their behavior and design distributed controllers.

What you will be able to do

  • Modeling of networked control systems
  • Analysis of the behavior of networked dynamic systems
  • Synthesis of distributed control strategies
  • Understanding of stability with delays, packet losses and communication constraints
  • Application of control and optimization methods for deterministic and stochastic channels

What the module consists of

  • VorlesungTransmission of the theoretical foundations and concepts
  • Übungen / TutorübungenDeepening through repeated problem solving

Teaching method

  • FrontalunterrichtUsed in the lecture for systematic presentation of the contents
  • Aufgabenrechnen in ÜbungenDeepening of knowledge and practice of methods through practical problems
