What it is about

The module covers techniques of channel coding for reliable transmission of high data rates over discrete-time, continuous-valued channels. You will learn concepts such as Trellis Coded Modulation, Multilevel Coding, Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation, as well as Signal Shaping and probabilistic amplitude shaping, and you will be able to analyze and design systems that are used in current and future standards.
