What it is about

You engage with modeling and optimization questions of the energy system in the context of the energy transition. You choose a research topic on energy management technologies (e.g., batteries, heat pumps, electric vehicles, digital energy management and coordination systems), develop it under supervision, and present the results in writing and orally.

• Energy system modeling and evaluation of new energy technologies
• Precise and complete presentation of research ideas, methods and results
• Reflection on methods and insights with regard to ecological, social and economic sustainability
• Development of inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to connect ecological, social and economic aspects
