Seminar Audio-Informationsverarbeitung

What it is about

In this seminar you will deal with changing current topics in audio information processing (e.g., signal processing of music and speech, psychoacoustics, auditory models, hearing impairment/cochlear implants, room and virtual acoustics). You will research scientific literature, prepare and deliver a professional presentation, and write a scientific paper on the presentation topic.

• Reading and understanding English-language scholarly publications
• Critical assessment of scientific publications
• Creating a scientific presentation based on the literature
• Giving a professional talk to an audience and answering questions

• Creating a scientific paper including citation and structure
