What it is about

You engage with ethical questions in techno-sciences and the practice of applied ethics. In the end you will be able to analyze ethical conflicts, develop solutions for concrete case studies, and design your own research approaches in the area of Ethics & Responsibility.

Seminar/Advanced Topicdevelopment and discussion of advanced literature, case studies and development of own research approaches; preparation of examination performances

Assessment

ForschungsarbeitPresentation

You write a research paper (2300–2500 words) in which you analyze theoretical and practical ethical concepts, identify an ethical conflict in the technology context, apply an ethical position paper to an empirical example, and design your own research approach. The work is augmented by a graded presentation (20–30 minutes). The grade is composed of 70% from the paper and 30% from the presentation.
