What it is about

You will learn how artificial intelligence is used in games to create intelligent behavior, procedurally generated content, and data-driven enhancements of the player experience. In the end you will be able to describe central techniques such as pathfinding, decision making and machine learning in games and classify their application as well as ethical aspects.

  • Understand AI methods in game development
  • Explain generation of intelligent game behaviors
  • Describe procedural content generation and data analysis in games
  • Theoretically analyze techniques and apply them practically
  • Assess ethical implications of AI in gaming
