What it is about

You work in a team on the conception, implementation and playtesting of an advanced game. In the end you can combine graphical, physical and software-engineering building blocks and present them in a runnable prototype.

What you will be able to do

  • Apply and combine techniques and models from real-time computer graphics, game physics and software engineering in a team
  • Assess and deploy technological building blocks (e.g. game engines, specialized physics software, client-server architectures, HCI hardware)
  • Analyze, evaluate and apply game-specific techniques, algorithms and models from advanced modules

What the module consists of

  • Project work (group project)Team develops design, implementation and playtesting of the game
  • Mandatory meetings with instructors6 compulsory 2-hour meetings for organization, interim reports, feedback and final presentation
  • Individual consultationup to 3 hours per group as needed
